Yes it’s that time of year again when we all start poring over the glossy ski holiday magazines and brochures looking for a 5 star chalet for the price of 2 star. Its not often a pro rider gets so many signature models in one season, but Danny Kass has managed to release his own GNU snowboards, Union bindings and Oakley goggles.

The GNU Danny Kass snowboard features the new C2 BTX technology that combines rocker between the feet and traditional camber on the out side of the feet. This provides the best features of traditional camber where the board performs at carving and provides pop as well as the benefits of Banana technology which makes the board float in powder and provides a catch free ride. This combined with Magne-Traction makes the board an outstanding all mountain machine that won a place in the Transworld Good Wood awards of 2009/2010.

Union have given their first Pro Model to Danny this season. The Union Danny Kass binding is based on the Union Contact binding with added response provided by the addition of carbon fiber. Board feel and control is increased with only 19% of the baseplate in contact with the board allowing the board to flex underneath the binding which is normally a ‘dead zone’ limited by the flex of the bindings baseplate.

Oakley have also produced a Danny Kass Crowbar goggle for 2009/2010.

The DH 2.1 is a impressive all mountain freestyle board that utilizes Ride’s new LowRize Rocker and sidecut to provide a catch free ride while pop is provided by the Pop Stixs, this board is built to go big! Its that time of year again where us girls want to be getting back on our snowboards! Volcom are bringing some of the best female riders to the UKs snowdomes to teach you girls a few freestyle tricks!

The Volcom Fridge Fandango will be running from 29th to 31st October with Cheryl Maas, Kari Opsal and Sarka Pancochova among those who will be coaching the event, ensuring you girls will be rshowing off your skils in the mountains this year! The event is strictly girls only and is expected to be very popular snowboards and get your tickets early!
